  • Your selected date is not guaranteed without a signed contract and 50% down. The remaining 50% will be paid in two equal installments. The final payment will be due 90 days before your event. Payment plans can be set up to pay partial payments every three months until 30 days before your event (please ask us about this option).

    Pricing is subject to change at any time Your contract rate and terms will be based on the date you sign the contract, not the date of the tour.

  • Cash or check is preferred. A credit card can be accepted through our online portal.

    Required by Albany County, WY, a 6% sales tax fee will be added to your total invoice.

  • If you would like to hire one of our day of coordinators, you can do so for $500. Our coordinator ensures your day is stress-free and everyone is where they are supposed to be! She will set up timelines and contact your other vendors the week before the event to introduce herself and ensure everyone is on the same page. She will help lead your rehearsal the night before your big day and run her butt off the next day, so you do not have to!

    We always have at least one team leader available on your wedding day. We will help your vendors find their designated locations to set up. You can use our Timeline template if you wish. However, the team leader does not take the place of a “day of coordinator.”

    If you hire an outside wedding planner or day coordinator, please ensure that you introduce them to us and that they know the venue rules. They are welcome to attend any meetings that we have.

  • We know you have been dreaming of your wedding day for some time, browsing Pinterest and saving all the designs you love. This was one of the reasons we started Echos of Yesterday, to make your day easier and less stressful and to help make your dreams come true. Based on your décor selections and instructions, Echos of Yesterday will set up/style your wedding décor for the ceremony area, cocktail hour, reception area, cake/dessert table, and gift table.

    You may select décor from our extensive inventory as part of your rental package. This must be done at least 30 days before your wedding date.

  • Echos of Yesterday will set up your ceremony site, tables, and chairs in the reception area and do all the décor styling for your wedding as part of your rental package if you choose (If you are a hands-on couple, you are welcome to do the decorating yourselves!). Room layout and ceremony setup will need to be decided at least 30 days before your wedding date.

    We will also handle the cleanup of our décor, ceremony area, and empty garbage.

  • We have a list of caters we like to work with or know of. They need to be a licensed and insured caterer. At this time we do not have a kitchen available. However, you do have use of a 3 door commercial refrigerator, 3 door commercial freezer and a commercial warming unit.

    Also, please arrange with your caterer (or selected person) to clear your guest tables of dirty dishes following dinner. Refrigerators and food tables will need to be cleaned by your caterer and bartender on Saturday evening. For leftovers, your caterer (or selected person) should box all your items and put them in the refrigerator. You can pick those up on Sunday morning if you wish.

    They should have all their items removed by 11:00 pm Saturday.(or day of event). We will not be held responsible for any items left on the premises.

    *If our real dishes are being used, we will have a few totes that the caterer can place the dishes in when being cleared. Please ensure plates are scraped clean of any food before being placed in totes. We will wash our chafing dishes, utensils, plates, glasses, and flatware.

  • You may bring your own signature cocktail beverage, beer, and wine. No shots allowed. You must provide a TIPS-trained bartender. You will need to provide your ice. We have a freezer for ice storage. There is also a refrigerator in the bar.

  • Saturday weddings, you can access the property on:

    • Friday from 3:00pm-7:00 pm (perfect time to bring any of your décor or other items, hold your rehearsal)

    • Saturday from 8:00 am-11:00 pm (Bride and bridal party can use the bridal suite starting at 8:00 am. Music and bar must end by 10:30 pm)

    • Sunday between 9:00 am-noon for any clean-up you need to do

  • With the option to use both indoor spaces, you can be flexible in setting up the area. For example, you wish to hold your cocktail area outside, the reception in one area, and dancing in the other. Our capacity is a maximum of 106-118 (including the wedding party) dependent on layout. However, 118 is tight. A comfortable layout is 90-100 seated guests (including the wedding party).

  • As a small event venue, we have parking for 50 vehicles. With this, we assume most guest carpool or come as a couple.

  • Being located on a rural property with fields surrounding us we do not allow any open flames - candles, fireworks, sparklers, or bonfires.

    We are a non-smoking facility. If you or your guests smoke, you will need to do this in the designated outside area, and all cigarette butts need to be disposed of in the provided container.

  • Many of the areas are accessible. However, the house has numerous stairs and is not ADA accessible. The event space has a wheelchair lift for accessibility to the Timber Room; the Willow Room is accessible. Both restrooms are ADA-compliant. The ceremony area is in a grassy area. As this is a residence, many of the landscaped areas are not accessible.

  • Please refer to your contract.

  • We require you to purchase a $1 million event insurance policy while at Black Fox on Welsh with BFW listed as the additional insured. The cost is approximately $250. You must provide proof of this at least one week before your wedding. There are a number of websites you can purchase it from (Eventsured.com and Wedsafe.com are ones couples have used)

    Your vendors must provide proof of their insurance a week before the event.

  • We would love for you to come to tour our facility! Please book a tour by contacting us here.

  • Yes! We would love to make your wedding bouquet, bridesmaids, and boutonnieres! Price will be based on bouquet design and flowers selected.

  • Yes, weather-dependent, we are happy to set up a photo area outside with our vintage furniture.

  • No, we have several easels and backdrop areas that you can use. There are also hooks in select areas that you can use for hanging items. Please do not use tape or nail things on our walls or woodwork.

  • You can bring your well-trained, friendly, and leashed dog as part of the wedding ceremony. However, you will need someone to take him/her home following the ceremony. We have children, deer, antelope, bunnies, and livestock nearby that can create a distraction for your furry friend.

  • Yes, there are several hotels within 2 miles. Laramie also has a large number of Airbnbs.

    We also own 5 Airbnbs in town that we can provide you the names of.

  • Included in your rental fees you can select from assorted linen napkins and table runners.

    Table linens are not necessary if you are using the farm tables. However, if you wish to use the round 60” tables, they will need table linens. We can work with a 3rd party vendor to order table linens, this would need to be done at least 30 days in advance.

    If you would like to upgrade to real table settings, we do offer those for an additional fee. We have beautiful vintage plates, flatware, clear goblets and assorted colored goblets. White and clear plates are also available as well as flatware. We also have real wine glasses and clear drinking glasses.

  • Here at Black Fox, we are fortuate that we are able to move the ceremony inside without disrupting the reception area. We can easily make the Timber Room into your ceremony area and then quickly flip it afterwards to your dance floor.
